Deks Air (Singapore) Pte Ltd is an established General Sales Agent (GSA) representing reputable international airlines in Singapore. We provide comprehensive passenger and cargo sales, marketing, and airport operational support services.

To support our growing operations, we are seeking a committed and experienced Cargo Officer to join our cargo operation team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Cargo reservation:

  • Receive telephone calls and email bookings from cargo agents for space booking request
  • Provide space confirmation request to all cargo agents
  • Coordinate with SATS GHA
  • Issue and record AWB stock to cargo agents on all products
  • Co-ordinate and check with principals' department concerned on all cargo matters/issues.

Operation & handling:

  • Cargo Reservation and Operations
  • Perform shift duties as required according to shift roster on Sundays; extended working hours till flight release
  • AWB/flight information capturing and updating on concerned airlines system
  • Update ULD stock record (SCM/UCM)
  • Co-ordinate with GHA – SATS
  • Cargo ware-house loading supervision
  • GSA Airlines follow up and update on DGR and monthly operation report
  • Coordinate and follow-up on freight operation issues/problems
  • Provide sales and customer support and services
  • Any other duties to be delegated by Supervisor / Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'O' level qualifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cargo operations, preferably with a GSA or airline.
  • Able to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by flight schedules.
  • Able to commence work immediately.
