About the Role

ATOP Academy is looking for dedicated and skilled Mathematics Specialists to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality and engaging Maths lessons for Junior College (JC) students, using our structured curriculum and learner-focused teaching approach. This position is crucial in helping students strengthen problem-solving skills, build mathematical confidence, and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct interactive and concept-driven Mathematics lessons for JC-level students.
  • Teach topics aligned with the H1/H2 Mathematics syllabus and the academy's academic goals.
  • Develop and adapt lesson materials, worksheets, and assessment tools for different learner profiles.
  • Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing actionable feedback and support.
  • Encourage critical thinking and mathematical reasoning in an engaging classroom environment.
  • Maintain open communication with parents/guardians on student progress when appropriate.
  • Participate in the enhancement of the Maths curriculum and enrichment initiatives.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, preferably from a local Singapore government university (e.g., NUS, NTU, SMU, SUSS, SIT, SUTD) or equivalent.
  • Strong academic background in Mathematics, with a deep understanding of JC-level topics.
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to student achievement.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and approachable personality.
  • Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
