The Opportunity
The opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity in the Asia Business Development Team. As part of the team, you will play a hands-on role in contributing to the firm's success and helping to achieve its objectives.
If you're a commercially minded individual with a passion for business development and improving the client experience in a professional services environment, you could be just what we're looking for.
We are looking for someone who can provide high quality BD assistance to the Singapore office, working in conjunction with the BD team in Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region. The internship period will be 4-6 months on full time basis.
The role will involve:
- Capturing new matter credentials and uploading to our credentials database
- Updating lawyers' web profiles and firm CVs with the latest credentials
- Assisting with sourcing content, profiles and credentials for pitches
- Assisting with social media profiling for BD initiatives
- Undertaking strategic market research and supporting client events
- Assisting with event logistics including facility, rentals, food, materials, audio-visual, email communications, onsite facilitation and post-event reporting.
- Updating and maintain event email distribution lists using firm's Interaction system.
Skills, experience and qualifications:
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and proactive attitude
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times, as we work with sensitive internal information
- Ability to meet numerous competing deadlines
- Communicating clearly with BD and external team members regarding workload and capacity
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
