About the role

English by Jen' is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis at our Novena Central Region location. As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in helping young students develop their proficiency in the English language and fostering a love for learning.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and deliver engaging English language lessons for primary school students
  • Create and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to students' individual needs and learning styles
  • Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to support their academic growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve the curriculum
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and attendance
  • Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in English Education and/or NIE-trained preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English at the primary school level
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and parents
  • Ability to create and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
  • Familiarity with the local curriculum and educational standards is preferred
