About the role
Join the dynamic team at Advanced VetCare Veterinary Centre as a full-time Veterinary Technician/Nurse. This exciting role is based in our modern veterinary clinic in the East and Central of Singapore offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of beloved pets and their owners.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, including preparing examination rooms, restraining animals, and providing nursing support
- Performing various diagnostic tests and procedures, such as taking blood samples, administering medications, and monitoring anaesthetised patients
- Educating clients on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventative health measures
- Maintaining accurate medical records and inventory control
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the clinic, including sterilising equipment and preparing surgical suites
- Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients
What we're looking for
- Diploma or Certificate in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent education and training
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician or Nurse
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate clients and work collaboratively with the veterinary team
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and public holidays
