Job Description:

Department

The Finance group in Asia Pacific performs multiple functions and is a key unit in the region. The Finance team is responsible for financial, capital, tax, management, and regulatory reporting.  The team also manages the accounts payable process for the region. The group works closely with local and global stakeholders to deliver on its mandate.

Job Role/Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for the management of Finance related tasks including but not limited to running of the daily/monthly finance report, expense, accounts payable, head office reporting, transfer pricing and to assist in the review of current processes.

In addition, the candidate will be responsible to support other Finance related tasks for our Asia-Pacific entities including involving in new initiatives for the bank.

• Account Payable – Responsible for working with stakeholders to complete payment.
• Transfer Pricing – Responsible for completing/reviewing transfer pricing methodology.
• Management Reporting – Responsible for producing /reviewing management deck and perform ad hoc analysis.
• Projects - Includes automation initiative, EUC deliverables and assessment of new businesses.
• Audit – Work with Internal/External auditors to close out any gaps.
• Other duties as assigned.

The role provides a great learning opportunity and provides excellent exposure to the various facets of the finance function from both a "Run the bank" and "Change the bank" perspective fostering one's career in the field of Finance and Accounting.

Job Requirements

• Accounting degree, Professionally qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA) a plus
• Preferably 6+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Audit
• Strong Excel skills required to build new reports and processes.
• Possess good time management skills.
• Preferably understand the Wholesale business and products, although not a must.
