Backend Lead

Responsibilities :

· Take ownership of backend systems, including operations, maintenance, and performance.

· Prepare progress reports, project documentation, and assist in project scheduling.

· Coordinate backend activities with stakeholders, vendors, frontend teams to resolve technical issues.

· Manage backend-related documentation, IT resources and project policies.

· Support change implementations: system patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and enhancements.

· Handle service requests and IT security issues, ensuring compliance with best practices.

· Assist in incident and problem management processes, including escalations from Level 1 engineers.

· Administer and configure AWS cloud environments; deploy and manage cloud-based workloads securely.

· Support operational systems reliability and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) adherence.

· Perform routine preventive maintenance and operational tasks effectively and on schedule.

· Diagnose and resolve technical issues to maintain system reliability and availability.

Requirements:

· Strong knowledge of backend architecture, system operations and cloud-based workloads.

· Hands-on experience with system maintenance, incident management, and IT security compliance.

· Familiarity with Windows-based and Linux-based systems.

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

· Self-motivated, proactive & customer-oriented.

· 5 years of AWS cloud experience.

· Degree or equivalent technical knowledge and expertise

· Willingness to take up technical leadership role.

· AWS Cloud Certification is a plus
