Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and responsible Sales Merchandiser to oversee product presence in supermarkets, minimarts, and other retail outlets. This role includes managing in-store displays, supervising promoters, coordinating with the sales team, and resolving on-ground issues. Candidates with experience in snack or frozen food products are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Retail Management (Supermarkets & Minimarts):

  • Ensure all products are well-stocked, correctly priced, and attractively displayed.

  • Maintain in-store branding materials such as wobblers and shelf talkers.

  • Monitor product expiry dates and coordinate prompt stock replenishment.

  • Build strong relationships with store managers and buyers.

  • Resolve on-site issues efficiently (e.g., missing stock, wrong pricing, poor display).

Promoter Supervision:

  • Schedule promoters for in-store sampling and events.

  • Train promoters on product knowledge and sales techniques.

  • Conduct site visits to ensure proper promoter conduct and performance.

  • Collect feedback and provide ongoing guidance to improve results.

Sales Coordination & Reporting:

  • Track and report weekly sales performance by outlet.

  • Liaise with the warehouse and drivers for timely restocking.

  • Work closely with the sales team on promotions and execution plans.

Ad Hoc Support:

  • Support roadshows, marketing events, or new product launches.

  • Handle unexpected issues on the ground calmly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in FMCG merchandising.

  • Experience with snack or frozen products is highly preferred.

  • Familiar with major supermarkets and retail formats in Singapore.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to work independently and travel to different retail locations daily.

  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and responsible.
