Program Director, D365 Centre of Excellence

Strategic purpose of the position:

The Program Director for the D365 Centre of Excellence (COE) will lead the strategic planning, governance, and execution of the Dynamics 365 rollout across Asia. This role is accountable for program success across regional and local markets, ensuring alignment with business goals, stakeholder engagement, and delivery excellence. The Program Director will coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to drive transformation and value creation.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Building the Centre of Excellence

• Establish and lead the COE dedicated to supporting future development and release management of Dynamics 365 (e.g., Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, Tech lead).

• Develop methodologies, best practices, and frameworks to enhance program methodology (data migration strategy, testing, change management) and D365 capabilities across the organization.

• Ensure process and methodology for post go live (release management, change management and support)

2. Strategic Program Leadership and Asia D365 Market Rollout

• Conduct comprehensive analysis to confirm the roadmap for Dynamics 365 rollout in Asia.

• Develop and execute a strategic plan, including anticipated timelines and required resources, to ensure alignment with business goals and value creation.

• Own the strategic roadmap for ERP, integration, reporting, testing, data migration and change management activities.

• Lead the planning and execution, ensuring traceability from design through testing to go-live.

3. Solution Delivery

• Take overall responsibility and accountability for the successful delivery of the D365 program across each Asian market, supported by the delivery leads.

• Oversee the delivery of project scope, architectural design, reporting requirements, data management, and integrations.

• Lead the program team and effectively manage stakeholder expectations and communications.

4. Support and Service Delivery

• Ensure all support and service delivery processes are in place and operational post-hypercare.

• Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

5. Governance and Methodology

• Accountable for project governance routines, escalation processes, and stakeholder engagement across the Group, region and local markets.

• Provide methodology guidance, quality assurance, and tools to support delivery teams.

• Oversee budget management at both regional and local levels, including forecasting and tracking.

• Manage the intercompany recharge and is the bridge between Group and Market.

6. Stakeholder Engagement and Vendor Management

• Lead internal stakeholder engagement across group, region, and local market leadership teams.

• Manage external stakeholder relationships, including tech partners and vendors, ensuring alignment and readiness.

• Manage vendors.

7. Change and People Leadership

• Guide change impact assessments and translate them into actionable plans for each business area.

• Lead people management activities including coaching, development, and performance reviews for regional and local teams.

Experience and Competency Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading large-scale Dynamics 365 implementations or similar ERP projects.

• Strong understanding of change management principles and practices.

• Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Fluent in English

Travel Requirements:

The role requires approximately 30% travel.
