Overview:

Yoga Instructors ensure students enjoy safe, inspiring yoga classes, upholding the Platinum Yoga culture and service commitment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive class atmosphere

  • Answer student questions

  • Promote studio events in classes

  • Demonstrate postures safely

  • Keep the studio clean and orderly

  • Maintain a consistent schedule

  • Follow procedures for substitutes

  • Meet or exceed class attendance standards

  • Foster positive relationships with faculty, staff, and students

  • Adhere to professional standards, company policies, and safety guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

  • Positive, friendly, and professional

  • Completion of a 200-hour, 500-hour Teacher Training, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent certificate

  • 1-3 years of preferred yoga teaching experience

  • Experience in gentle yoga, yoga for beginners, and meditation

  • Physically able to provide support and adjustments

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferable

  • Education or experience in health and fitness preferable
