Job Description:

Loh Chwee Chew Mooring Services Private Limited is seeking a competent Forklift Driver with a strong emphasis on safety. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and loading of raw materials and finished goods within the facility. Your primary objective will be to ensure the safe and timely handling of materials, contributing to the smooth operations of our business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from lorries, ensuring proper stacking and storage procedures.

• Safely transport, stage, and organize palletized products within the warehouse.

• Safely transport materials to designated storage areas.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

• Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition.

• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.

• Collaborate with warehouse and worksite crew to fulfill material handling requirements and maintain a smooth workflow.

• Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking incoming and outgoing materials.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and pathways are clear and free of obstacles.

Requirements:

• Valid forklift operator license and proven experience in operating forklifts.

• Strong emphasis on safety, adhering to established safety protocols and promoting a safe working environment.

• Excellent understanding of forklift operations, including loading, unloading, and maneuvering in tight spaces.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials to prevent damage or loss.

• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions.

• Candidates with drumming experience will be a better fit.

• Willingness to learn new skills.

• An attitude that promotes teamwork and collaboration.

Location & Working hours

• Work at Penjuru Place
• Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
