M&E Technicians

About the role

Vanguard Safety & Security Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking experienced M&E Technicians to join our team. This full-time role will be based in the Southern Islands Central Region. As an M&E Technician, you will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance on a range of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure their optimal performance and reliability.

What you'll be doing

1. Inspecting, testing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment to identify and resolve any issues
2. Troubleshooting and repairing a variety of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
3. Performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks according to established protocols and procedures
4. Documenting all maintenance activities and providing detailed reports on the status of equipment
5. Collaborating with the broader maintenance team to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to asset management
6. Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

What we're looking for

1. Relevant technical qualifications in a field such as mechanical or electrical engineering
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience as an M&E Technician, preferably in the trades and services industry
3. Proven ability to diagnose and repair a range of mechanical and electrical systems
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
6. Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and report on maintenance activities
7. A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work
