The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Clinic Manager to lead the operations of a high-risk cardiology specialist outpatient clinic. This role includes managing services related to cardiology diagnostics and supporting both ambulatory and inflight patients.

You will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the clinic's operational, financial, and personnel activities. Working closely with specialists and cross-functional teams, you will drive strategic initiatives, streamline workflows, and ensure high service and clinical standards.

As a people leader, you will also focus on staff development, engagement, and performance across a team that includes Patient Service Associates (PSAs), Nurses, and Cardiology Lab Technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the cardiology specialist outpatient clinic
  • Ensure seamless coordination of patient services, including diagnostic and inflight/ambulatory care
  • Lead, manage, and support a multidisciplinary team of healthcare and administrative staff
  • Collaborate with clinicians, allied health professionals, and other departments to optimise service delivery
  • Develop and implement operational plans and best practices that improve clinic efficiency and patient experience
  • Monitor key performance metrics, resource utilisation, and compliance with clinical and service standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and champion a culture of excellence
  • Foster staff engagement, learning, and growth; serve as a role model and mentor

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse with a valid practicing certificate
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in managing clinic operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across healthcare functions
