Job Title: Business Analyst (Insurance)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled IT Business Analyst with experience in the insurance sector to bridge the gap between business and technology. This role involves gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions, analyzing processes, and supporting the delivery of IT initiatives aligned with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications and user stories
  • Work with IT teams to design, test, and implement effective solutions
  • Support project planning, tracking, and delivery coordination
  • Develop test plans, conduct testing, and ensure quality assurance
  • Assist in change management, user training, and documentation
  • Perform data analysis to generate insights and support business decisions
  • Prior experience in treaty insurance , including understanding of reinsurance processes and workflows, is highly desirable.
Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field
  • PMI-PBA or equivalent certification preferred

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of business analysis experience, ideally within insurance or financial services
  • Strong track record in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution delivery

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and BI platforms
    Familiarity with SDLC and project management methodologies
