About the role

Swish Rolls, well known for bringing viral pastries such as the CROON, Singapore's First Croissant Egg Tart and the Fluffy Bun Series, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Baker Crew to join our team in the Orchard Central Region. As a Baker Crew, you will be responsible for the preparation and baking of a variety of delicious breads, pastries, and other baked goods to delight our customers. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  1. Baking croissants, egg tarts and other baked goods
  2. Accurately measuring and combining ingredients to ensure consistent product quality
  3. Operating and maintaining baking equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and proofing cabinets, to ensure efficient and safe production
  4. Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  5. Assisting in the packaging and labelling of finished products
  6. Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new and innovative baked goods

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Baker or Baker's Assistant, preferably in a commercial or high-volume setting
  2. Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards
  3. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely
  5. Excellent time management and organisational skills
  6. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company
