Responsibilities
- Monitor safety and health practices across all projects, ensuring workers follow safe work procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences; recommend remedial measures to prevent recurrence.
- Carry out risk assessments and maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping at project sites.
- Conduct safety orientations and daily toolbox meetings.
- Perform internal audits for OHSAS 18001 and BizSafe Star renewals/surveillance.
- Ensure operations comply with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and related legislation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer.
- Possess a valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification.
