About the role

Avante Gym & Yoga Pte. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and driven Sales Consultant to join our team in the Orchard Central Region. This full-time role will be responsible for promoting our state-of-the-art gym and yoga facilities to prospective members, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales to contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Actively engage with potential customers, both in-person and over the phone, to understand their fitness goals and requirements
  2. Provide tours of our gym and yoga studio facilities, highlighting the unique features and benefits to encourage sign-ups
  3. Conduct sales presentations and negotiations to close new membership contracts
  4. Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and sales activities
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions
  6. Provide excellent customer service and support to existing members to ensure high retention rates
  7. Participate in regular team meetings to share best practices and identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the fitness industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connect with customers
  3. Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  4. Passionate about health, fitness and wellness, and a desire to help others achieve their fitness goals
  5. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as required
  6. Proficient in the use of sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software
