About the role
Century Education Group, a provider of quality educational services, is seeking Science Tutors to join our team on a part-time/freelance basis. The majority of our students are studying in the international schools here.
Tutoring rates vary from $40 to $110 per hour (depending on the grade of the student and the qualifications of the tutor).
What you'll be doing
- Develop and deliver engaging, personalised 1 to 1 lesson plans to support students' academic growth in Science subjects
- Identify students' individual learning needs and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
- Provide constructive feedback after each class and guidance to help students reach their full potential
- Collaborate with the wider education team to share best practices and continuously improve the quality of our tutorials
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
What we're looking for
- Degree in Science
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably with students of various ages and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed
- Flexibility to work part-time hours
- Punctuality and professionalism
- Familiarity with the IGCSE or IB curriculum/framework is an advantage
