Introduction:

As a Junior Marketing and Personal Assistant, you will provide high-level support to our Director, helping to manage both our marketing efforts and the director's day-to-day business and personal affairs to ensure day runs smoothly and efficiently.

We understand that marketing often goes beyond just creating and managing content, it involves wearing multiple hats. In today's world, real marketers know their role extends far beyond the screen, often balancing creative, strategic, admin and operational tasks to truly make an impact.

In this role, we want to be transparent: as a marketer, you will also serve as a key anchor in the company, supporting not just marketing efforts but as a junior personal assistant to a director. We are upfront about this because we value clarity and honesty in what the role truly entails.

Therefore we are looking for the perfect fit, who is ready to roll up their sleeves and take ownership beyond the usual scope of marketing. Who is ready to be creative, proactive, meticulous, organized, and ready to gain hands-on experience in a fast paced environment, where no two days are exactly the same.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and manage content across social media and digital platforms
  • Support marketing campaigns, personal branding efforts, and lead generation strategies
  • Organize and maintain calendars, appointments, and reminders
  • Assist with daily cold calling and outreach campaigns to drive engagement for business growth
  • Help manage personal scheduling and daily tasks for the director
  • Support any ad hoc needs related to personal commitments or family matters
  • Coordinate/plan meetings, events, and travel arrangements
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and avoid scheduling conflicts
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages on behalf of the executive
  • Draft and respond to correspondence when needed
  • Handle administrative matters
  • Liaise with clients, partners, vendors, and internal teams professionally

Criteria:

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (fresh grads are welcome to apply)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively
  • Required to be comfortable with cold calling and follow-ups
  • Highly organised, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Meticulous with a strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and adaptable, willing to take on both creative and personal assistant role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite)
  • A positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership over your work
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Caveat:

  • Let's be clear, this isn't a sales job. We are looking for someone who is ready to be the backbone of the brand and the business. You will play a key role in driving our marketing efforts and supporting the director's day to day.
