Changi, Singapore Penta-Ocean Construction Co., Ltd. Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise marine construction projects till completion.
    • Oversee the supervise the sand filling in marine construction using marine barge / vessel.
  • Coordinate and monitor the reclamation work in the project and at the material supply source.
  • Liaise with client, other relevant authorities, consultants, and other external and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of the project.
  • Liaise and coordinate with the marine and land survey team.
  • Coordinate and supervise the subcontractors and direct construction workers.
  • Monitor, review and report the work progress to immediate superior daily.
  • Implement and monitor safety matters in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations.
  • Responsible for ensuring good QA/QC at the project.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma holder in Civil Engineering.
  • Min 5 years' experience in Marine Construction and Civil Engineering works (preferably in reclamation, bund construction or dredging projects).
  • Familiarity with hydrographic surveys, marine traffic management, and offshore construction methodologies, and vessel works planning (e.g., anchoring, positioning)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and relevant construction planning / management software.
  • Fast learning and understanding the process of marine construction.
  • Good Leadership and coordination skills.
