About the role

At Heng Shun Engineering Pte. Ltd.', we are seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they remain on budget and delivered to the highest standards. This is a full-time position based in the Kallang Central Region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
  2. Analysing tender submissions and providing recommendations on the most cost-effective options
  3. Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts
  4. Monitoring project costs and providing regular financial reports to project stakeholders
  5. Identifying potential cost savings opportunities and implementing cost control measures
  6. Providing technical and commercial advice to the project team
  7. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards and company policies

What we're looking for

  1. Dipolma in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  2. Minimum 1 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the civil/structural engineering industry
  3. Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management and project administration
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors and the project team
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects on time and within budget
