About the role

Jade Commercial Services, a leading provider of pet grooming services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pet Grommet to join our team in the Jurong East West Region of Singapore. As a Pet Grommet, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring they look and feel their best. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, pet-friendly environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing professional and comprehensive pet grooming services, including bathing, trimming, brushing, and nail clipping
2. Identifying and addressing any skin or coat issues, and recommending appropriate treatments
3. Maintaining a clean and organised grooming workspace, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained
4. Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with pet owners
5. Staying up-to-date with the latest grooming techniques and industry trends
6. Assisting with the training and supervision of junior groomers, as needed

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in pet grooming, with a proven track record of providing high-quality services
2. Strong knowledge of different breeds, their unique grooming needs, and the latest grooming techniques
3. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
4. Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics to ensure the pets look their best
5. Physically fit and able to handle and groom a variety of pet sizes and temperaments
6. Certification in pet grooming or a related field is preferred
