Overview:

Our client, a leading trading company, is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join their newly established Logistics Department. This role is focused on container forwarding, where you will be responsible for obtaining competitive quotations from shipping carriers and managing various aspects of container shipping operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of maritime market trends and project future developments.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key clients.
  • Design and refine efficient logistics frameworks.
  • Oversee vessel chartering and manage shipment operations.
  • Coordinate logistics for domestic, import, export, and cross-border trade across three countries.
  • Possess in-depth expertise in the logistics and shipping industries.
  • Leverage strong networks within leading logistics and shipping organizations.
  • Manage end-to-end processes for finalizing international transportation contracts.
  • Negotiate optimal trade conditions with shipping partners.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements : 

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a shipping company is required.
  • Proven experience in the logistics and shipping industries, with a strong understanding of industry operations and trends.
