Kitchen Exhaust

Inspects, cleans, and maintains commercial kitchen exhaust systems.The job scope includes hood cleaning, duct degreasing, and fan servicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Degreasing: Thoroughly clean exhaust systems including hood, filters, ducting, and exhaust fans, to remove accumulated grease and contaminants.
• Degrease of electrostatic air cleaner/ UV lights
• System Inspection: Checking for and preventing leaks in the exhaust system, which can reduce efficiency and create hazards.
• Cutting of access points, sealing of leaking joints
• Supply and install access panels (if necessary)
• Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance on motor fans and other components to extend the system's lifespan and ensure optimal functionality.
• Safety Compliance:Ensuring that the cleaning process adheres to workplace safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Documentation: Keeping records of all cleaning and maintenance work for verification by the relevant authorities.

Requirements

• 2 years and above relevant experience
• Night work
• Works at heights certification is required
• Scissors/ boom lift certification is an advantage
• Construction Safety Orientation Course Certificate or higher is required
• Team Player
