Job Scope

  1. Own and optimize thin film CVD, PVD, ALD processes to consistently hit output, yield, quality, and cost goals.
  2. Be accountable for process performance, stability, and continuous improvement.
  3. Eliminate recurring issues with permanent, data-driven solutions.
  4. Ensure process sustainability by maintaining control and meeting key performance indices.
  5. Lead impactful improvements in efficiency, cost, yield, and quality.
  6. Build deep expertise and foster a strong technical knowledge base across the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Drive cost reduction by eliminating waste, finding alternative sources, and implementing innovative solutions.
  2. Lead quality investigations and continuous improvement programs to enhance process robustness.
  3. Enforce line controls and ensure adherence to work instructions and procedures.
  4. Apply hands-on involvement in daily operations.
  5. Monitor and analyze SPC charts to drive improvements in process control.
  6. Manage timely disposition of on-hold lots.
  7. Conduct regular reviews and updates of OCAP, FMEA, Control Plans, Risk Assessments, and SIPOC.
  8. Guide and train technicians in process problem-solving and technical competencies.
  9. Demonstrate accountability and foster a strong sense of ownership and teamwork.
  10. Ensure proper handling of non-conformance issues.
  11. Maintain compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S standards, and cleanroom protocols

Education/Experience Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
  2. Expert in semiconductor processes, with hands-on experience in thin film CVD.
  3. Fluent in statistical and quality tools, driving data-backed decisions.
  4. Thrives under pressure, with unwavering commitment to results.
  5. Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for clear, effective communication.
