Adecco is partnering with a global logistics leader to look for a Solution Architect, responsible for designing and executing scalable solutions

The Job:

  • Define and maintain application and technology architecture aligned with organizational standards, ensuring scalability, operability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Evaluate and document architectural options , delivering position papers and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Establish and enforce IT architecture standards across applications, data, integration, and security to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and conduct regular technology assessments , proposing innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities.
  • Support product evolution and business needs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed architecture and design documentation , ensuring alignment with project goals and facilitating smooth updates or changes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams , including project managers, product managers, and technical experts, to support implementation, resolve complex technical challenges, and secure stakeholder approval for design initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of IT experience with a focus on application architecture, solution design, and technical leadership across enterprise solutions, integration, and data architecture.
  • Proven leadership in driving IT architecture governance , standards enforcement, and practical application of architecture frameworks and design patterns, particularly in platform and application products.
  • Azure and TOGAF certifications are preferred, with a strong technical background in cloud application development, enterprise solutions, and platform integration.
  • Hands-on expertise in various development technologies including Azure Cloud, Microsoft365, Java, C#, .NET, Angular, , and databases like MS SQL, MySQL, and IBM DB2, as well as DevOps tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience , leading offshore teams, managing development processes, and ensuring successful deployment and support for complex IT solutions.
