about the job

  • Providing recommendations to credit applications prepared by the corporate banking front office team, and ensuring that the transactions meet all aspects of risk factors.
  • Ensuring that credit policies and portfolio risk standards are continually looked into to ensure that the Bank minimises possible compliance / risk issues.
  • Reviewing and formulating Risk Appetite and Portfolio Standards in line with its bank-wide business strategies
  • Providing risk advisories and reviewing structures to mitigate risks, if any
  • Reviewing and enhancing credit assessment procedures and processes
  • Ongoing portfolio monitoring for any potential cases with early warning signals
  • Participating in any business meetings or project initiatives when required

about the manager / team

Reporting in to the Head of Risk, you will be part of a stable and growing platform providing credit advisory and approvals to the corporate banking front office team.

skills & experience required

  • Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Economics or equivalent.
  • Has 6 years of relevant credit analysis and/or credit risk work experience in corporate banking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
