The Opportunity

This position has overall accountability for completing manufacturing tasks as scheduled, in full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and Roche's corporate principles, quality policies, and standards.

  • Supporting the Biochemical Manufacturing Department by working effectively within the team to meet goals and objectives.
  • Embodies PT Lean Production System (LPS), demonstrating continuous improvement mindset and behaviors through the use and application of LPS tools for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for completing assigned tasks, including preparing small equipment, cleaning and sterilizing vessels, preparing solutions, monitoring biochemical processing equipment, sampling raw materials, dispensing, environmental monitoring, and maintaining housekeeping while adhering to safety, cGMP, and biochemical manufacturing guidelines.
  • Operating computer-based systems for process control and data entry.
  • Participate in staff and shift change meetings, working closely with other shift personnel and external support groups.
Who You Are
  • Fresh graduates with a degree in Life Sciences or Engineering discipline, or Diploma/NITEC holders, with relevant experience (Diploma holders with at least 3 years, NITEC with 7 years). Biologics experience is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving, interpersonal, and team skills; self-starter with a focus on safety, quality, details, and results.
  • Able to work weekends, off-shifts, and overtime as required.
  • Capable of carrying loads up to 25kg.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with computer systems are highly desirable.
  • Background in microbiology, fermentation, or protein purification is preferred.
  • Willing to commit to a one-year contract.

  • Compliance with all SHE requirements, reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
  • Observe security measures and report suspicious activities or damages.
  • Perform tasks safely, report incidents, and support SHE initiatives.
