Job Description:

  • Identify and implement process improvements using data analysis, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Update and maintain in-house documents, jigs, and fixtures related to Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Develop and sustain the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Lead and supervise a team of operators, technicians, and line leaders in sheet metal production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues, introduce new technologies, and monitor process improvements.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on assembly techniques, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process maps, flowcharts, control plans, and other documentation.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical).
  • SAP / MES experience is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing production, ideally with strong exposure to Sheet Metal operations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of sheet metal processes (cutting, bending, welding, surface treatment)
  • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret technical specs
  • Familiar with CNC machinery and tooling setup; experience with AMADA machines is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and problem-solving tools (e.g., root cause analysis)
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin will be an advantage, as the role involves coordination with Mandarin-speaking colleague
  • Good leadership, teamwork, and coaching skills
