Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital efficiently.

GST Filing:

• Prepare and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns in accordance with Singapore tax regulations.
• Ensure compliance with GST laws and regulations, including timely submissions and payments.

Full Set of Accounts:

• Maintain and manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

Invoicing:

• Generate and manage invoices for sales transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that invoices are compliant with relevant regulations and contractual terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.

Purchase Orders:

• Process and manage purchase orders for procurement of goods and services.
• Verify purchase orders against budgetary constraints and authorization levels.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure proper documentation and approval.

Delivery Planning:

• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to plan and schedule product deliveries to customers.
• Monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries.
• Address any delivery issues or discrepancies promptly.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the development and management of the annual budget.
• Prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis to support business planning.

Audit and Compliance:

• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in financial and operational processes.
• Implement best practices in accounting and financial management.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff members.
• Provide guidance and support in their daily activities.

QuickBooks Online:

• Proficiently use QuickBooks Online software for accounting and financial management tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or ACCA qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Singaporean accounting standards and tax regulations, including GST.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
