A Glimpse into the Role:

  • Architect & Strategist: Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance models.
  • Security Champion: Implement robust security, compliance, and identity management solutions using tools like Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Azure AD.
  • DevOps Enabler: Design and set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions to automate deployments.
  • Trusted Advisor: Collaborate with stakeholders to assess cloud readiness, develop migration strategies, and provide technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities and Key performance indicators

Participate in planning, design, preparation, implementation and operation of projects and working with various internal and external stakeholders

  • Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance models.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess cloud readiness and develop migration strategies.
  • Implement security, compliance, and identity management solutions within Azure.
  • Optimize cloud performance, cost, and scalability through continuous monitoring and improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams.
  • Stay current with Azure innovations and recommend relevant technologies.

Educational Qualification : Degree in IT or engineering related field.

  • Deploy and configure Azure services
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Implement security controls using Azure Security Center, Defender, and Sentinel.
  • Manage identity and access using Azure AD, Conditional Access, and RBAC.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
  • Monitor performance and availability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Optimize cost and resource utilization.
  • Work as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and technical teams.
