Play Nation is seeking an experienced and creative individual to join us as a product designer. The focus will be on creating new products in Lifestyle, Toys and Plush products.

This involves conceptualising new products in 2D and 3D models, and effectively communicating with internal and external working partners. The ideal candidate should possess proven product/ graphic design and/or digital illustration experience, display the ability to think out of the box and is receptive to new ideas and feedback.

Product Designer

Basic: $3,500 - $4,000

Min. Experience: 3 years and above

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Conceptualize and Ideate original products, drawing inspirations from trends / cultures / consumer preferences
  • Creation of detailed 2D & 3D models with technical specifications for product manufacturing.
  • Project management with internal and external team, including brand partners for feedback and approvals
  • Assessessing product samples for quanlity and accuracy
  • Generation of assets for marketing needs
  • Brand Expertise: You will need to grow to have a strong understanding of Play Nation products, consumer targets, and product lines. Candidates should also have a strong interest in lifestyle toys/collection products.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Product Design or a related field.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in product design experience related to toys, game products, or encompassing any vibrant and creative elements.

  • Displays work consistency in completing tasks on schedule and ability to communicate professionally

  • Photoshop, illustrator, design skills required. Candidates should possess strong sketching, rendering and technical drawing skills in 2D & 3D forms
  • Creative, energetic, and passionate in the toys / games industry
  • Only Candidates that do not require foreign pass applications will be considered due to insufficient quota
