The Division of Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship (SIE) at Nanyang Business School invites applications for a research position focused on computational analysis of innovation, blockchain, and AI applications. This role offers opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration with leading international institutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct large-scale data analysis using machine learning, network science, and statistical modelling.

  • Design, implement, and evaluate computational pipelines for data collection, processing, and analysis from diverse sources (e.g. patent records, academic publications, institutional affiliation databases).

  • Conduct advanced network analysis, including co-inventor, co-author, and citation network construction, visualization, and quantitative evaluation.

  • Prepare high-quality research outputs, including peer-reviewed journal articles, technical reports, and data visualisations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related field

  • Expertise in Python, R, and statistical modelling

  • Experience in handling large datasets (e.g., patent and publication datasets) and applying advanced analytical methods

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • A track record of research excellence.
