We are seeking a highly creative and passionate art teacher to join our team of dedicated educators at our contemporary art education center. As a art teacher, you will play a crucial role in teaching art classes, designing engaging lessons, and providing expert instruction on various art techniques. We value the ability to nurture students' creativity and self-expression while equipping them with essential technical skills.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration and growth.
- Teach fine art to students, covering areas such as drawing, painting, and printmaking and craft, employing innovative and creative teaching methods.
- Demonstrate and guide students in the use of different art techniques, tailoring instruction to their individual artistic abilities.
- Develop and implement student-centered curriculum and lesson plans that foster creativity and artistic development.
- Organize and curate art displays and exhibitions for the center and the wider community.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and fellow teachers.
- Monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and encouragement.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma/Degree in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience teaching fine art to students.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Genuine passion for working with children and inspiring their artistic growth
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills. (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
- Experience with international art curricula, such as IGCSE, IB, or related programs, is preferred.
