The Role
We're looking for a seasoned creative videographer who can confidently take a project from idea to final cut. That means strong conceptual skills, technical know‑how, and the ability to lead shoots independently—whether in a controlled studio or a fast‑paced, run‑and‑gun setup.
You should be comfortable directing talent and making real‑time decisions that keep production on track. At the same time, you're collaborative—working closely with producers, editors, and potentially designers to bring a shared vision to life.
This role requires more than good camera work. We need a visual storyteller who shoots with intention, adapts quickly, and delivers footage with clear direction for post-production.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate briefs into executable visual concepts
- Collaborate with producers to shape platform‑relevant narratives that reflect brand tone and visual style
- Lead all aspects of production—camera, lighting, sound, crew, and logistics—across both studio and run‑and‑gun environments
- Apply strong visual instinct and quick thinking to capture high‑quality footage under varied shoot conditions
- Direct on‑set talent and troubleshoot challenges independently to ensure smooth execution
- Deliver organised footage with clear post‑production handovers, including visual references and editorial notes
- Edit or guide edits in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, with attention to storytelling, pacing, and platform‑native formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, 16:9, etc.)
Who You Are
- 3–5+ years of professional videography experience, with a portfolio that showcases both craft and content relevance
- Proven ability to lead shoots from planning through to post-production hand‑over
- Technically confident with professional camera systems, lighting setups, and audio gear
- Skilled in Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro; colour correction, audio balancing, and motion graphics are a plus
- Strong grasp of visual storytelling, composition, and pacing—especially for short‑form and social‑first content
- Up to date with trends and native formats across IG Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Excellent communicator and collaborator; able to work independently while staying aligned with the team
- Organised, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities and fast‑paced production needs
- Comfortable with non‑standard hours (evenings/weekends) and on‑location or overseas shoots
- Diploma or degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field preferred (experience matters more)
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday (regular office hours)
- Weekend or evening shoots when required
- Occasional travel for overseas productions
