What the role is

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of Engineering.

What you will be working on

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Involvement in developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessment and performing tasks for modules related to Electronic and Computer Engineering, specifically in communication technology (networking/cloud/wireless networks), embedded systems, programming, microelectronics, and artificial intelligence.
  • Spearhead and identify new opportunities and collaboration with industry.
  • Work on industry or consultancy project to stay relevant in your profession.
  • Support student development in the area of education.

What we are looking for

  • Relevant qualification in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Microelectronics, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in product design/development/manufacturing.
  • Passionate about education and possess strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
