Job Responsibilities

• Must be polite and courteous to all business partners and guests who serves / visits the hotel.

• Assists Doorman to performs hotel's entrance activities that includes: assist with traffic control and taxi booking at the driveway in the absence of the Doorman & assist to ensure cleanliness of the driveway area

• Delivers and collects luggage to and from driveway, guest rooms and/or other designated areas as requested / required

• Ensure all baggage / items  are tagged correctly  and, a portion of the slip is handed to guest for identification and claiming of baggage / items
• Ensure the efficient delivery, collection and verification of group luggage (with the group leader) is done as required
• Ensure that all guests verifies and confirms the accounted number of pieces before each time bags /items are delivered or received
• Confirm and verify with guests on number of items & bags placed, removed or returned from vehicle or storage upon departure or arrival
• Assist guests with long / short term luggage storage and retrieval
• Deliver newspapers, faxes, mail /messages to guests' rooms and/or other designated areas as requested / required timely
• Be updated of Hotel's amenities and services and provide prompt and efficient  assistance to guests' enquiries  and requests
• Escort guests to room assigned by Reception and assist with placing luggage in room and/or any necessary orientation of room safe box etc.
• Assist with arranging of transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine service) for guests/visitors, and records advance transportation request as needed in the absence of the Concierge
• Be the liaison between guests and taxi / transportation drivers for destination / information to ensure minimum inconvenience
• Ensure confidentiality for all information relating to the matters, guests and associates of the organization

Education & Work Experience

• Primary education
• Able to speak and read basic English
• Well-groomed and Customer-oriented
• Received prior training in fire evacuation and emergency procedures will be an advantage
