The Role

The role reports directly to the team lead. He or She is responsible for supporting the Professional Engineers on the design and supervision of new erections, addition and alteration (A&A) work to existing buildings, earth retaining and stabilising systems, specialist designs for the facade, glass, demolition works etc, as well as temporary works. The role may also be required to conduct site inspections.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works;
  • Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions;
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders such as clients, consultants, and contractors for projects; and
  • Supervise and inspect construction works;

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized Institution;
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical skills in geotechnical and structural analysis and design work would be an advantage;
  • A good knowledge of the application of design and drafting software such as Autocad, Staad Pro, Plaxis, Prota, and Tedds would be an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates and experience candidates are welcome to apply. Experienced candidates may be considered for a more senior position.
  • Passing FEE 1 and FEE 2 are an advantage.
