Our client is a leading multi-award-winning medical technology start-up addressing
respiratory care challenges. As part of its expansionary plan, it is seeking to employ a
professional with a passion for medical technology to join them as
Embedded Systems Engineer (Ref: KHXXX)
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the research and product development
team of scientists, clinicians and engineers to develop and deliver diagnostic and
monitoring solutions that elevate the well-being of patients with respiratory ailments.

The Job
 Process and review system-level requirements for smart medical devices and
translate them into necessary hardware / system requirements specifications
 Design new and optimize existing embedded platform from the specifications
 Engage in research activities together with R & D team members on the
implementation of smart medical solutions
 Realize complex, power-efficient, safe and robust PCB designs for medical
applications
 Develop, prototype and verify cost-appropriate analogue and digital circuit designs
for medical applications
 Implement embedded software / firmware in compliance with the software
development process
 Generate high-quality technical documentation to capture and communicate
designs with the Company's collaborators
 Perform systems design and code review with members of the R&D team
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams or external vendors for system integration
 Ensure design compliance with medical standards and certifications

The Candidate
 Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering in EE or EEE or other relevant fields
 Preferably 3+ years of industry experience in embedded system engineering.
Fresh graduates with relevant project experiences will also be considered.
 Experience in embedded hardware design and simulation
 Experience in PCB design software and simulation is a plus
 Proficient in programming skills including MATLAB, C/C++, Python
 Passionate about the development of medical technology
 Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
 Experience in RF communications implementation
 Experience in Cloud systems preferred
 Background or knowledge in audio signal processing would be an advantage.
