Senior Equipment Engineer (Implant / Anneal)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Equipment Engineer to lead and support equipment engineering activities for Implant and Anneal processes in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment performance, uptime, process integration, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure optimal manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Job Description:

  • Ownership of Implant/Anneal Equipment:

    Manage and maintain implant and anneal tools (e.g., ion implanters, RTP systems), ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance:

    Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Process Integration Support:

    Collaborate with process engineers to optimize equipment parameters for yield and performance improvements.
  • Vendor Management:

    Interface with equipment vendors for upgrades, spare parts, and technical support. Evaluate and qualify new tools and technologies.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

    Utilize SPC, FDC, and other analytical tools to monitor equipment health and drive data-based decisions.
  • Training & Mentorship:

    Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Compliance & Safety:

    Ensure all equipment operations comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

    Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Candidates possess Bachelors in Materials Science, Chemical/Microelectronic Engineering are welcomed to apply.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in the field of Equipment Engineering, Implant, Wet, Diffusion, Anneal Process Knowledge and prior work experience is preferred (e.g. FDC, SPC, Statistical software- Minitab/JMP)
