Singapore Adept Manpower (asia) Pte. Ltd. Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on gantry cranes and related lifting equipment.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable crane operations.
  • Assist engineers in mechanical inspections, load testing, and performance checks.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and replace worn-out parts such as bearings, gears, wire ropes, and hydraulic components.
  • Conduct routine checks on structural integrity, alignment, lubrication systems, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and upgrade works for gantry cranes and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace safety regulations and company SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and spare-parts tracking.
  • Coordinate with electrical technicians/engineers when mechanical issues relate to electro-mechanical systems.

Job Requirements:

  • Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance of gantry cranes, overhead cranes, or heavy industrial machinery preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, gearboxes, brakes, and wire-rope mechanisms.
  • Able to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in industrial environments.
  • Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to perform overtime or respond to breakdowns when required.
