Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Technician

Job Summary:

The AV Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of audio-visual systems in meeting rooms, auditoriums, and other presentation spaces. The role involves both technical execution and coordination work — supporting project managers, liaising with contractors, and ensuring that all AV systems are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and test AV equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, video conferencing systems, control processors, and cabling infrastructure.
  • Assist in project management activities, including site coordination, scheduling, documentation, and progress reporting.
  • Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure proper installation and system integration according to design specifications.
  • Perform system troubleshooting, fault isolation, and preventive maintenance for installed AV systems.
  • Conduct on-site testing, commissioning, and client handover with proper documentation.
  • Support system upgrades, firmware updates, and calibration of AV devices.
  • Provide technical support during events, presentations, or meetings as required.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company standards during installation and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Audio-Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field if possible.
  • 1–3 years of experience in AV installation, integration, or maintenance is welcomed (experience with brands like Yealink, Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, etc. is a plus).
