Process Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Optimise plant work processes and production.
- Study and review current process gaps, recommend improvements to HQ, and lead implementation of new processes.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure successful roll-out of process changes.
- Proactively identify potential problems before incidents occur.
- Ensure the plant operates according to design specifications.
- Champion risk assessments and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Diligently follow the PDCA cycle.
- Conduct regular checks and briefings.
- Train engineers and senior engineers on new or changed processes.
- Conduct training sessions for technicians on new or changed processes.
- Guide and train the engineering team to ensure optimal proficiency.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a process engineer.
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID.
- Basic knowledge of chemical operation process equipment.
- Knowledge of ISO9000, 14000, 45000, and 50000.
- Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks and ability to conduct actual assessments.
