Position Overview

The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions that align with the company's business objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies, evaluate system architectures, and ensure seamless integration across cloud and on-premise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end solutions across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments (Azure / AWS / M365).

  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices.

  • Evaluate new technologies and propose adoption strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews with stakeholders and vendors.

  • Provide guidance to engineering and operations teams during solution implementation.

  • Ensure designs comply with security, compliance, and scalability requirements.

  • Architect hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premise and cloud (Azure/AWS) systems.

  • Optimize performance, availability, and cost of cloud infrastructure.

  • Implement DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles where possible.

  • Design integration frameworks between enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, M365, SharePoint, etc.).

  • Define data flow, APIs, and security models for system interoperability.

  • Implement architecture that adheres to cybersecurity best practices and organizational policies.

  • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

  • Maintain solution design documents, technical diagrams, and handover materials.

  • Participate in governance reviews and architecture committees.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT architecture, infrastructure design, or system engineering.

  • Proven experience in designing solutions within cloud environments (Azure / AWS).

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, and enterprise networking is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Cloud: Azure, AWS, or GCP architecture and governance.

  • Infrastructure: Virtualization, networking (LAN/WAN/VPN), firewalls, storage.

  • Tools: Terraform / ARM templates, CI/CD pipelines, PowerShell / Bash scripting.

  • Security: Identity & Access Management (IAM), Conditional Access, encryption, and compliance.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.

Other Requirements:

Fluency in Azerbaijani and Arabic is essential

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

  • TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification

  • ITIL v4 Foundation

Employment Details

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: SGD7,000 to SGD9,000 per month
