The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, your responsibility is to build a strong business partnership with the different health & beauty stakeholders, becoming a trusted and valued member.

  • Drive financial feasibility analysis for new sites, lease renewals and store refurbishment projects, including preparation of business cases and scenario modelling
  • Prepare performance review reports for new, re-furbished and/or loss-making stores
  • Analyse and review Business Unit P&L results, engaging stakeholders to explain key variances and influence corrective actions
  • Preparation of routine and ad-hoc management reports
  • Play an active business partnering role by providing financial insights and recommending actions to the designated Business Units
  • Coordinate and control financial budgets/forecasts of the designated Business Unit
  • Review work processes and develop or implement solutions to improve efficiency
  • Participate in data related projects and business analytics requests
  • Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time

About You

  • Degree in accounting or relevant discipline
  • CA/CPA/CIMA/CFA qualification an added advantage but not mandatory
  • More than 2 years of relevant business partnering experience working in fast paced environment, preferably within retail or More than 5 years of accounting experience with an keen interest to step into business partnering
  • A mature team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with digital tools i.e. SAP BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Power Automation are desirable
