Bottling/Refilling Technician

Reports to the LNG Operations Manager/Supervisor

Job Description

Operate gas filling machinery to fill cylinders according to established protocols.

Monitor equipment performance and conduct routine checks to ensure optimal operation.

Perform first-level maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues with LNG filling equipment.

Ensure accurate documentation of filled cylinders, including quantities and batch numbers.

Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the filling area, following the 5s principles.

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in gas filling operations, LNG/LPG plants, or industrial manufacturing environments is desirable. Those without experience but has a good attitude to learn new skills will be considered.
• Experience operating machinery or automated filling equipment.

• Basic maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting experience.

• Technical or vocational certificate in mechanical, industrial, or process operations is an advantage.

• Technical skills such as ability to operate gas filling machinery according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Familiarity with 5S or similar workplace organization systems.
• Ability to follow safety protocols strictly and consistently and adhere to workplace safety.
• Need physical strength to handle cylinders and work in an industrial environment and don with PPE.
• 5.5 days work-week, willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required.
