Our Unmanned & Integrated Systems business offers holistic solutions in system engineering and integration. We pioneer maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, provide system integration for complex naval and island air defence System-of-Systems (SoS), and take care of the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems. The SI Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of system integration projects. They ensure that various hardware, software, and networking components work together seamlessly to meet the project requirements. The role involves managing technical tasks, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders, performing system testing, troubleshooting integration issues, and ensuring compliance with standards. You will play a key role in overseeing the system integration lifecycle, from initial design through deployment, ensuring that all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required technical specifications.

• Perform system integration verification and interface testing
• Documentation including test plans, procedures, reports etc
• Propose and implement technical solution to resolve integration problem or system engineering issue
• Perform analysis and troubleshooting of interface problem or system engineering issue
• In charge of proper installation of equipment onto platform
• Generation of Installation Control Document and Cable Running Sheet
• Monitoring and reporting of progress of work
• Maintaining of interface problem and system engineering issue
• Propose and implement technical solution to resolve problem
• Conduct safety, protection and coverage studies
• Able to understand mechanical and electrical wiring diagram with some basic understanding of cable termination
• Able to understand system network connectivity diagram with basic understanding of switches and routers
• Must be able to work within tight schedule and fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal skills, writing skill and presentation skill and able to work independently

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Mechatronic / Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with network design and networking exposure will be added advantage
• Experience in data communication such as network protocol (TCP/IP, UDP/IP etc), serial protocol (RS422, RS232 etc) and transmission channels is an added advantage
• Proficiency in operating measuring equipment or software such as network analyser, serial protocol analyser and oscilloscope
• Proficiency in network software such as Wireshark and network analyser
• Good knowledge with Operating platform such as Microsoft Windows and Linux
• Good understanding of Local Area Network
• Knowledge of project management skills.
