Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our consultant. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. This role requires a good understanding of different refrigeration technology system design, practical experience around refrigeration system operation & maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain refrigeration systems in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations
• Perform inspections on refrigeration equipment performance
• Troubleshoot refrigeration systems, solving technical issue and provide solution around optimal performance
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications:

• Any diploma in Air-Conditioning and/ or Refrigeration Engineering or Maintenance
• Knowledge in refrigeration system design, including heat load calculations and equipment selection.
• Knowledge of various refrigerants, including natural refrigerants like ammonia and CO2.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration components, such as compressors, evaporators and condensers.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fair communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver's license B

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Refrigeration or HVAC
• Experience with control systems and automation in Refrigeration
• Previous experience in sectors like food processing and/ or cold storage
