Role: Java/ Angular Developer

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to support our Bespoke applications, which have been developed using Java and AngularJS. The ideal candidate will be adept at working autonomously and will primarily focus on managing and enhancing these applications.

Proficiency in Java, SQL, and middleware technologies such as IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and API Connect is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support Java and AngularJS applications in alignment with design specifications.
  • Utilize your expertise in Spring and Maven frameworks to ensure effective application development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing and administering middleware products, including IBM IIB and API Connect.
  • Assume responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the Web Content Management System (WCMS) platform.
  • Manage source code and facilitate the release process through the use of Jenkins.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and proficiently resolve application defects and technical issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A graduate with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive track record in developing and maintaining Java applications.
  • Proficiency in AngularJS for front-end development is added advantage.
  • In-depth familiarity with the Spring framework and Maven for streamlined development practices.
  • Hands-on experience in the management of middleware products, particularly IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and API Connect.
  • Proficiency in source code management and experience with release processes using Jenkins.
  • Proven capability to diagnose and troubleshoot application defects and technical challenges effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and adeptly articulate technical concepts.
