The Midnight Shift Operations Manager is the on-site leader responsible for driving organizational performance, maintaining operational integrity, and ensuring the business runs at full strength through the night.

This is a senior leadership role designed for a decisive, adaptable, and highly accountable professional who thrives on complexity and challenge. You will oversee all site functions — from personnel management and service delivery to safety, facilities, and performance — ensuring that every operation aligns with company standards and objectives.

You are the chief decision-maker overnight , empowered to lead with authority, manage cross-functional teams, and solve critical issues that impact the entire business. This is a role for those who lead with strategy, act with precision, and deliver results under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct all business operations during the midnight shift, ensuring smooth and efficient execution across all departments.
  • Act as the senior authority on-site , maintaining accountability for performance, service delivery, safety, and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage performance metrics , ensuring key targets related to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
  • Lead, coach, and empower teams across multiple functions, fostering collaboration, engagement, and a high-performance culture.
  • Identify and address operational challenges proactively, making sound decisions that sustain productivity and mitigate risk.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with day-shift management to ensure operational continuity and accurate reporting.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives , optimizing workflow, resource utilization, and employee engagement.
  • Represent senior leadership during overnight hours, ensuring the company's values, vision, and standards are upheld at all times.
  • Lead incident and emergency response , ensuring quick and effective resolution of any critical situations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in general management or operations leadership , including at least 3 years managing 24/7 or night-shift operations .
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end business operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities to build trust and inspire teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, performance management, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and employee relations.
